The International Society for Military Ethics in Europe
Leadership. Ethics. Service.

At the occasion of a courtesy call, EuroISME’s Vice President Prof. Dr. Thomas Elßner recently met Major General André Bodemann, newly-promoted and appointed commander of the Leadership Development and Civic Education Center of the Federal Armed Forces in Koblenz.

The ZInFü/LDCEC Koblenz – together with the King’s College of London and the Research Center Saint-Cyr – was a founding institutional member of EuroISME and is one of the most vigorous supporters of our activities.

In his introduction, Thomas Elßner underlined the importance of enduring efforts in the field of professional ethical education and of EuroISME’s devotion for the development of a real European Militatry Leadership Culture. MG Bodemann thanked EuroISME’s president, John Thomas, for his kind letter of congratulations and reassured the association of his incessant interest in a prolific partnership. He invited all members – and especially all other institutional members – not to resign but to create inventive occasions for common initiatives in these very difficult times of international cooperation under the conditions of the Corona pandemics.
